Were having Bacon and Egg pie for dinner tonight so can Jackson have some too?? He has just turned 6 months old.

My Plunket Nurse told me they can have egg from 7months I think... Hopefully someone else can clarify! (I only gave it to Chelsea once tho as she puked it back up again!)

I wouldn't before they are 12 months but only because that is what Plunket used to advise and when I gave DS1 some at 8 months he got all blotchy around his mouth and chin. Really freaked me out! He eats eggs all the time now though and loves them.

My Plunket book says 7-8mths for egg. But if you were following BLW then the literature would probably say it was ok as long as the egg as well cooked (i.e. not runny which it likely wouldn't be anyway.

the latest hand out from plunket introducing solids has egg from "around 7 months"
I gave DS some last week and hes 6.5 months..

should be fine...

Yeah were doing BLW. And yep the egg will be well cooked. I might give him a really small piece and see how he goes.
