Is what I can play with my skin at the moment. Its making me so self conscious and every day theres at least 2 more that pop up. Anyone got any tips on what I can do to improve my skin, some are hormonal spots and some are zits..

If I use anything like clearasil face wash my skin goes super dry and I end up with even more.

I had that when pregnant, and still do!

I went to the chemist and asked what would be good, and they recommended the Trilogy range.    Bit pricey, but I got a cleanser, a face scrub and a moisturiser for about $80.

It's completely natural stuff and super moist without leaving you feeling oily.   The cleanser didn't last very long, but the moisturiser is lasting me ages.

Other than that, the Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser is the best stuff I've ever used.   It made my skin feel so nice, and cleared it up really well. Although I didn't have it while pregnant so not sure if it would help.

I know that drinking lots of water is ment to help clear up skin.
Also clearasil has that stuff that you just put on the spots and it makes them go away rather than washing your whole face? It comes in a little tube (I cant remember the name but there is the ad for it on TV, how the spots are gone in 4 hours)

Ethique

Has some really nice natural stuff, its all made when you order it and she posts it out, it's amazing stuff! Some of the products are a bit pricey, but everything that I've had lasts FOREVER!

Really really amazing on skin, I have sensitive skin and i love her products. She also has hair stuff and lots of other stuff worth a look at. She works with solids, so your wash your hair with a solid bar (like soap) crazy but it works!!

I know if you ask she does test pots which are about $3 each off memory...

My face is horrible too. It's the pregnancy thats done to me though. I've was using SImple before and dring But I'm finding it's just not working atm. It might just be cause of being UTD.
I have 2 friends who have just become Nutrimetics consultants and there skin is looking amazing, only after a few weeks. But it's quite out of my range.
I've used Neutrogena but found it dried out my skin alot.
So We'll see over the next few weeks and I'll do some trials to see whats goingt  work.
My mum is an AVON lady too, so I might resort to some of that.

My skin goes really gross when I'm pregnant too. It never feels CLEAN. I usually use Clinique but when I'm UTD it doesn't work for me at all. Makes me feel all oily

I've switched to Neutrogena (lots cheaper than Clinique too!!) I use their scrub every day in the morning and the oil free moisturiser. Seems to be working great so far (touch wood) and did the trick with my last pg too.

I have worse skin when I am pregnant to but no where near as bad this time as last time. I use cetaphil cleanser, big bottle from pharmacy for about $27, my friend had heaps of probs with her skin and her dermatologist recommended this. I us body shop toner and moisturisers and change from the aloe range to the seaweed range when pregnant and that seems to help heaps to. I also think that last time a scrub with witch hazel in it was great, so maybe go to health shop and see if they have a witch hazel toner? Do you hear make up, I find pregnancy and make up just don't go together, after I wear it even for an evening skin gets worse. Sorry a bit of a ramble but hope they are helpful suggestions!

In the first trimester my skin was terrible - I know we're supposed to glow but I was just greasy lol!
I found witch hazel and tea tree to be awesome. I got a teatree facewash, and dabbed witch hazel on the really manky zits worked a treat

good luck with the pregnancy hun xxx

I was about to post asking when the skin is supposed to clear up once pregnant but I guess it doesn't!

Since coming of BCP mine has gotten bad and I always thought it would clear up once pregnant. Don't they always talk about the 'radiant glow' on pregnant woman? Glow my a... all thats glowing are the red spots everywhere!
Here we go again, another baby on it's way!

Glad i'm not the only one!
I'm finding it really embarresing!

I'm kinda chicken to use a scrub, thinking it would agravate my skin... did anyone have any issues with that?

I use Dermalogica which is prescribed by a beauty therapist. I've used it since before I was pregnant and I've had no issues with my skin so far ::touches wood::
I have a huge 500ml cleanser which did cost about $100 but it's been going strong since last year. I use about a pea sized amount daily when I wash my face and neck.
I also have an exfoliating scrub which I use maybe twice a week. That one is fantastic, I can actually see my pores are clearer after I use it!
And last but not least I have a moisturiser which is gorgeous and smooth and a separate factor 20 sun block moisturiser which works brilliantly.
I'm super stoked with all the products. At the beginning I went for a facial at the Day Spa that does it and they did a skin exam and recommended products to suit. The first moisturiser they gave me was too drying so they swapped it for no charge. Since then I've had very few problems with my skin. The odd single spot but that's about it.

Ugh - I totally hear you! (Except I am not pregnant)
I had a massive one last week giving me the worst headache. I was thinking I needed to get pregnant again - always had good skin what I was pregnant :P I found this really cool roll on zap-it which seemed to clear it. Other wise making sure I get back to eating lots of healthy foods and drinking lots of water. Making sure I wash my face at the end of the day (with the girls wet wipes) really helped too.
