Topic: Implantation Spotting Posted: 11 March 2010 at 11:24am |
Hi all!
Wondering if anyone knows how long after suspected implantation spotting are you likely to get an accurate HPT? I had some random spotting Tuesday night and nothing since....
TIA!

Oh you guys! You are getting me excited lol
Will test in the morning with FMU and use an internet cheapie HPT. I have got quickcards and one I was given from the hospital too.
So what happened... just cos I know you gals like all the details
I got AF on the 25th Jan and it lasted two weeks . Then Tuesday night I wiped and there was pink CM, yesterday morning I had discoloured creamy CM (figured it was 'left overs' from the night before's surprise) and have had EWish CM since. I had that heavy pre-AF feeling yesterday morning and then everything disappeared from lunchtime and no hint of anything coming back today
Rianna, Lana and Caliandjack - was your spotting/bleeding anything like what I described for mine?

Mine wasn't pink it was almost brown - almost like discoloured CM. As I said I thought AF was on her way but she never showed, I waited a couple of days to make sure though. But then I have an aversion to POAS too many BFNs
My last AF was 26th of Jan and it lasted couple of days which is normal for me.
The only thing I can recommend is either test, or wait until you are past AF due date and test then.

I think I'll just test with my (last ) internet cheapie tomorrow then if nothing over the weekend will test again on Monday with a quickcard.
I don't usually have regular AF's so don't know when to expect the next one, wouldn't have expected it for at least another month, so I was quite excited to see spotting cos I though 'yay I might have a 7 week cycle' lol

mine was brownish cm for about half a day...just thought it was AF starting as that was what normally happened and it normally gets heavier but it went away completley then got the BFP when I tested 2 days later.
(I so hear you on the yay AF might be showing and having a shorter cycle thought! after our AF's that go on strike quite regularly!!)
fingers still crossed for you! I'll be checking on here in the morning for your POAS result! good luck hun!

Sara I honestly thought AF was arriving. I had cramping, heaviness, brownish with pink blood streaked EWCM and I felt like crap (AF kinda crap). The only reason I tested the next day (12DPO) was cos my temp was still up and what do ya know, a BFP followed.
Im soooo hoping this is it for you and will be stalking tomorrow morning too I am hoping that its a 9 month wait for your AF to return

Well I don't know what's going on with my body
BFN this morning, most of yesterday had twinges going on and a dull ache when I went to bed last night so thought: yip definitely wake up with AF - nope! No sign!
Frustrating! So will test again on Monday if nothing arrives over the weekend
