....that its normal to not feel 'anything' this early in pg? After the initial settling in type cramps etc everything seems to have gone back to normal....probably I'm a bit tireder than usual adn my nipples are very sore...but other than that I don't 'feel' pg! Is that cos its my 2nd (with Clodagh I felt hyper aware of every niggle!), or is it just that every pg is different? Just wanting some reassurance lol |

I think it's possibly that every pregnancy is different. With both Ollie & Lilia I 'felt' pregnant before I got BFP's however with this bub while AF was late, I didn't actually think I was preggy cos I didn't feel anything. I got the shock of my life to see a BFP! I was about 5 weeks at that point and it was probably around 6 weeks before I actually started feeling preggy.
Hope that helps give you some reassurance |

Thanks mummydee....    I've had a couple of moments of nausea already but that could be tiredness from BF in the middle of the night lol. I saw a newborn today and it just hit me how tiny they are....aaaawwww

I've only started feeling sh*te this week, this is my 1st, and was worried I wasn't feeling preggers - if feeling preggers in the first trimester, involves puking your guts out every morning, then I'm quite happy not to be feeling that way.
The main symptom I've had is tiredness, and not sleeping well doesn't help with that.

Maybe with Clodagh you attention isn't as focused on being preggers, as it was with her.

2nd time around I was blissfully symptom free until 7 weeks then it hit me just when I was thinking hehe I might get away with no symptoms, like you I knew I was preg really early on.

It's normal, I remember worrying that I didn't feel sick and then at about 6 weeks it kicked in. Then some days I'd feel ok again and freak out and then it came back.... sore nipples and tiredness are still symptoms And.... I think lots of people say you feel sicker with a girl than a boy so maybe it's a boy |

Ha a little boy would be cool Chelle!    Allthough if we could pick I think another little girl would be lovely....doesn't matter obviously!    I've had mini waves of nausea over the weekend actually and still have sore bbs so I'm sure it'll all hit soon enough! Gulp.

I had nothing but the extreme tiredness which got really bad about 8 weeks (I'd just crash) and the sore BB's. I had the crampy stabby pains til about 6 weeks. No morning sickness here and now Im quite glad and feel very sorry for those who have it and have it bad...............funny how you want all those horrible things just for reassurance lol |

Buttersmum- you're so right about wanting symptoms but then remembering how truely awful they are!    I really REALLY don't want ms like last time as it was totally delibitating and I just physically couldn't manage this time around with another baby to look after. But yeah some mild nausea would be ok lol. I'm trying to get hold of a mw so I can book an early scan as still not 100% sure of my dates!    Seeing a little blobby on the screen would be reassuring |
