Topic: No morning sickness? Posted: 08 April 2010 at 4:57pm |
It still hasn't hit (yet)....should I be worried? After the ms horrors I had when pg with Clodagh, I just assumed this one would be the same! I've had moments of feeling a bit seedy in the afternoons but mainly I'm just very tired with pretty sore bbs.
Definately not complaining! Just can't help but feel a bit worried. I took another HPT yesterday (don't ask lol) and the test line came up dark purple and twice as dark as the control before I'd even peed on it (slight exaggeration but you know what I mean!)

When I found out I was pregnant I was about five weeks along. I starting feeling a bit icky the next day, but it really took another couple of weeks for the morning sickness to properly start.
Everyone's different though!

6 weeks is still "ear;y" for ms to kick in.
With #1 I felt nausea from about 8 - 12 weeks.
With #2 I was sick (nausea and vomiting) and absolutely shattered from 7-11.5weeks.
Both completely different.
Enjoy it while it lasts

I was about 7 1/2 weeks with Cooper. I had been a little smug thinking I was avoiding it & then it came up & hit me like a great wet fish

lol same as Kel, I thought I'd gotten off scot free with the ms (it started the day I found out with DS (4wks) so when the first 2 weeks post-BFP went past and no ms I was celebrating... a little too soon as it showed up in full force quite suddenly just as I passed the 6w mark! Unfortunately that 2 week break was all I got, unlike DS (4-16w of ms) I had it right up until she was born! think I might have to cross fingers for a boy next since it stopped along the way with him!

Yeah I thought I had gotten off lightly the second time around too, as I had pretty bad MS with Sam from about 5 weeks until 20 weeks. This last time I was feeling pretty good up until about 7.5 weeks and then it hit me. Not as bad as the first time around and only until 14 weeks but still there!

I didn't get morning sickness at all!! I was worried as well but my MW told me it's just as common to not get morning sickness as it is to get it, you just don't hear about it! When i did feel seedy though good old dry crackers and ginger tea worked a treat!
Good luck - hope it doesn't rear it's ugly head for you!

With Caden I got sick bang on 6 weeks and was sick till 15 weeks with extreme nausea(vomited twice).
With bella I didnt feel sick until after 7 weeks and was sick until about 15 weeks again. With her though the sickness was no where enar as bad as with Caden!
Your only 6 weeks 2 days, so dont worry chick, there is still time lol(but lets just hope MS is gonna skip you this time!)

I'm the same as Ricker and Rorylex, had no MS at all, just a few times where I felt a bit queasy especially if I could smell meat cooking. Enjoy a MS free pregnancy I say
