Hi everyone,
This is a bit of a "please vote" thread unfortunately, but it is for a great cause. My father in law is involved in a Rotary International initiative called Shelterbox. They provide immediate relief and aid in the event of a disaster (ie he is in Indonesia at the moment following the earthquake last week).
Shelterbox has the opportunity to win $20,000 by getting the most number of votes by the end of today. In their terms, $20,000 will pay for about 13 Shelterboxes, which will directly help provide shelter, warmth, water, kids packs (colouring books etc), cooking sources etc for more than 130 people. That aid will last them weeks, or even months (such as in the case of Haiti).
Anyway, all they need is for you to follow this link
and vote for Shelterbox. There is no registering or anything involved.
