well it wasn't a huge one, but pretty scary - my cat woke up and was looking around and the dogs outside at the neighbours were barking

I still think I can feel it swaying but I'm pretty sure its still!

At least Lily is still asleep! (I think I freaked myself out as I am home alone at the moment as DH is out at soccer!)

And I thought it must have been close to Wellington as it was a biggy. One of those ones that made me get up and grab stuff and left me shaking for ages.

Looking at Geonet we felt the big after shock.

I was on facebook & typed just after I felt it. Strange that we felt that but not the initial one.

felt it here in Invercargill hehehe DP cant have experienced many he was straight under the door frame with josh i wandered over later when i realised it wasnt stopping in a hurry. Really weird like the house was rolling around and around unlike the up and down ones we had a few years back that seamed stronger - really didnt feel like one of the biggest in nz. I wish it had knocked over the garage tho so we could claim insurance and build a bigger new one
