Topic: Anybody on Clomophine? Posted: 03 September 2009 at 8:04pm |
Hi everyone, I am new to this site and TTC since March. We are on Clomophine and I was wondering if anybody else is in the same boat? I have just started using the ovulation test kits so hopefully they will be helpful. I was just wondering how long others have used Clomophine before they were successful. Had an estradiol level of 2056 on day 12 and have detected the dark lines n the ovu test kit this month so here is hoping.
Would love to hear from other ladies using or having used clomophine.
Cheers,
May

Hi May28
I was on clomid and as you can see from my ticker it was successful I got my BFP on my second cycle. There is a thread for clomid people under coping with infertility which is really helpful. All the best.

Hi May. I'm on Clomid As has been mentioned, pop down to the clomid pill poppers thread in the intertility section, there's a few of us in the same boat. 2056 is a great level, are you having a scan or just day 21 bloods to confirm you oved?

oooh so Monikah did you not ovulate your first 5 cycles last time? and ovulated first round after having your DS? just wondering coz I only ovulated once on 150mgs in like 12 or so rounds (didn't get preg tho got preg on our own as murphy would have it lol)...just thinking for next time if i need it...gives me hope that i may respond better to it now that my body knows what to do.
sorry for the threadjack

I was told by my mw that many people that need clomid first time around don't need it again and therefore not to rely on not being on clomid for contraception

Thanks MindyW.. We have been trying for about 8 months now, had tests done and all normal and ovulating good, we are both 39 so thought best to try clomid sooner really..

Thank you all for your replies and giving me the idea to link with the pill poppers. I just had my bloods done yesterday (day21) and it said 36.4 for Progesteron. Which means I dev ovu. So here is hoping! I will go and check out the other thread so might see you there.

Yes, I am in my late 30's - almost 37. And this is number 1 for us! My Doctor has given me til November to get UTD, if no success she said she wants to see me and they will take the next step. So I guess that could very well be colmid.
