Baby Factory in PN has one!! Mothers Room actually and has toilet, bottle warmer, leather glider, changing table and a nappy bin (and of course a sink etc)
Quite nice for what it is... even better when your 4 wk old baby just did a citrus (mummy drinking too much Just Juice) Explosion!!

Baby Factory in Albany is about three or four doors down from the complex toilets...they are in the alleyway between Hallensteins and the Warehouse. Baby Factory in Takapuna is next door to the IRD Building which has toilets in the foyer.. (third pregnancy in - I almost have a sixth sense for finding public toilets).

that annoys me to, farmers can be pretty bad for putting all their clothing stands to close together and pushchairs just dont fit.

Yeah - I even found that in a Pumpkin Patch store!!  And I wasn't trying to negotiate a pram around it either.  All you could hear was a constant murmur of "uh, excuse me" coming from all the shoppers.  How daft!

Pak n Save just got new trolleys. Nice and shiny but so BIG! I can't fit it between cars to get to mine now so have to push it ALL the way around the carpark Oh that's right, it must have been to save me money!!

Apparently they got those trolleys so people would be tempted to buy more. Notice they don't supply quick shoopers with baskets. Gotta go, Jake has brought me a book to read.

Yes actually! I wanted to grab a basket the other day and ended up using a trolley because it's easier than chasing a toddler around the shop. Cunning!

Oh and with shop n go, I use that to know how much my shopping bill will be, but the green bags you get are really thin and rip if you put too much in them.. the yellow bags are much stronger!

I was trying to naviagate Farmers last night (yay for card holder sales!) with just my bump and arms full of stuff (and hubby of course with his arms full of stuff!) and that was hard enough - especially with all the people, i'd hate to imagine doing with a pram/stroller!!

Farmers is terrible isn't it. I usually end up leaving Alex in his buggy in one of the main aisles and then suddenly I have gotten so wrapped up in my shopping I remember 5 mins later that I have left him there. oops! So many shops are not baby friendly. All the great gift stores are an absolute no go. But you would expect all the baby shops to think of these things wouldn't you. Obviously a man designed the store lay outs!

i have complained to kmart re the aisles being too small, and in the kmart in hunters plaze you cant even get the buggy thru the checkout. also pumpkin patch where all the newborn stuff is down low and you have to bend to see it - hard with a bump.
i didnt know the new pak n save trolleys were bigger, but i did notice they didnt get any new ones with baby capsules or with two toddler seats.

My pet peeve at the moment is our local supermarket. They have 3 dbl trolleys - one with 2 baby capsules, one with a baby capsule and a toddler seat and one with 2 toddler seats. Well over the last year I have on occasion had to ask them for the dbl toddler the staff like to use it for stock cos its so big. Anyway over the last 4 weeks I haev asked for it at least 2 times a week but stillnot there. he boys are 2 big to go in the baby capsules so end up with one sitting in single trolley and the other one tryng to climb out of the trolley. Its so dangerous as I have on several occassions nearly has a boy over board.
Anyway lost my temper at them abit the other day so will see how it goes. It they dont fix it soon I will be giving a major complaint as there are a few twin mums here who Im sure would also appreicate the use of the trolley.

Whew...whinge over lol

I hate pak'n'save. If they are trying to save us money, why do they spend it on tv adverts?!?!?!? and they aren't even gooooood!!!!!!

And re: forgetting your child in farmers. I've done that many a time! hehehe Mine is usually because I wander too far away and then have to listen out for a screechy "Muuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmm" to figure out where I left her!

Jake likes to hide behind things and shout "TA DA" at people. He does it to me to, but I have to say
"where is Jake? I can't see him anywhere", and then act really surprised when he bursts forth from a stack of clothes.

hehe we are a pak n save family, mainly cos all my family worked there at one time or another and my mum still does plus hubby works for the company that owns them so countdown or woolworths are a dirty word in our house hold.
Kobe has started hiding under clothes if I let him walk in farmers, only problem is he doesnt jump out and Im scared Im going to loose him
