So, who has it? And what works to fix it?!?!

I'm nauseous from about 30 mins after I get up, to right when I fall asleep. I saw the dr about it today and got metclopramide, which didn't work for me last time, but fingers crossed! He did mention that Berocca is really good for morning sickness as pregnant women lack in B vitamins.

   Mmm, berocca!
My morning sickness has really tapered off for the most part - I feel so lucky, but it is early days yet! (7 weeks)

For the most part I just have food aversions, and certain tactile aversions. Generally if I am really craving something I should be able to eat enough of it to quench my hunger. Do you have any cravings?

I hope it gets better for you soon xx

I've got it pretty much ALL day every day too, it is horrible!I have just discovered this week, that gastrolyte is AMAZING for combatting it! Purely discovered by chance, as the doctor prescribed it to me for a tummy bug I had a week and a half ago.
So I'm finding if I have a cup of that in the morning it is a huge help.
I think that Berocca would have a similar effect :)

Just had my pregnancy confirmed by the doctor yesterday, i'm just over 5 weeks, and strangely enough that was the first day i started to feel a bit sick. Its so far been pretty much constant all day and i find that eating crackers and small snacks helps. Also think i'll get some ginger beer to sip, as ginger is meant to help....might try the Berocca idea too...

I thought I might be lucky because I've barely had any... till last night when I spent most of the evening in the bathroom :/
Sucking on peppermints and snacking on gingernuts seems to be helping

Mine is constant all day it's driving me insane! Snacking doesn't help, I feel like I need something substantial and then I end up feeling over full so I can't win! It's either nausea or over full feeling! Might see if my GP can prescribe something.

Morning sickness hasn't really kicked in for me yet but I had a berocca at your suggestion today anyways, any excuse for berocca!

I've had success with the Blackmores Morning Sickness relief tablets. I also read that if you use ginger, medicinal grade ginger works a LOT better that culinary grade (which is what is in ginger beer/biscuits etc).

I have had the Nausea or the over full feeling too, mostly feel nauseous in the mornings when I dont have anything in my belly - plus have found certain smells can set me off too - yesterday I was crouching down in my kitchen looking for crockpot, I opened up a cupboard beside me and there was a horrible musty smell that came out of it and had me running to the bathroom instantly - yuck!I have found that if I just try and keep grazing constantly during the day so there is always something in my belly it keeps the nausea away!!!
 good luck girls!

I'm with you all here Morning sickness is awful. I've only had one chuck which is really good for me, usually I'm sick after most meals and for up to 22 weeks. Like you Pepsicle I use the Blackmores morning sickness formula and its brilliant but try not to use it too often as the warnings about too much vit B6. But it does work if I'm going out, as it calms the tummy. So I'd try that Sammy78, my midwife recommends it too.

Can you get this without a script? I have had REALLY bad MS since 4weeks, have tried everything without any luck. I travel for work so finding it really hard as the further along I get the worse it gets!

That sucks Peaches. Have you talked to your GP about taking something to stem the vomiting? I have both times, with my son it dropped my vomiting from 5 to 1-2 times a day, which was so great.

Arrr MS sucks !! After 3days in hospital an 9 bags of fluids in the first 24hrs I am now on Metoclopramide an Cyclizine every 8hrs (which means getting up at 2am every morning but I'm so not missing any) an Ondansetron when I feel like im going to vomit during the day, an touch wood it's working. After a scan at 71/2 weeks I was told I had 'resorbing twin syndrome' so this is prob why I've been so sick. Hoping it gets better soon - I'm 9 weeks now an I can't remember what it feels like not to feel sick anymore
