Topic: Bug dress up day Posted: 09 March 2007 at 9:09am |
he he, it's that time of year again, paris's daycare is studying insects, which means they have a bug dress up day - and since we made her a butterfly last year "we can't be the same thing" and apparently bugs and spiders costumes are "for boys".. so today miss Paris is a ladybug.
He he, just grabbed last years antenas and put red polar fleece over the ends, and chucked a couple of spots on some polar fleece and added stuffing and straps. Didn't realise it would be so large but looks kinda neat.. she likes it as she can lie on the ground and it doubles as a pillow!
Oh well, next year when Ayja's in the senior school she can re-use the butterfly costume... for now it's been relegated to the dress up box.

How cute, Andrew's preschool are into bugs at the moment as well. He loves going out into the garden and finding them for me.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

too true Theresa we try all paris's dress up costumes for daycare on Ayja too - usually far too big but once they have been used and put in the dress up box ayja uses them the most.
