Ok, so I know I was peed off with her a few weeks back. but we got that sorted out. ANyhow, I had a great brain wave for a pressie for her since I see her for the last time this week and I won't be having any more children.. unless Rods vasectomy goes the same way as Mike's, and I'm posting about a 3rd bubba in a years time, lol!

Anyhow, I got her a 9ct gold stork charm, since she has been our "stork" and delivered our babies... I know, I know, sounds expensive, but remember I work at a jewellers and get a great discount... Silver charms are cheap if you ladies wanted to copy my idea..

Cool idea, aye? *skite*

that's a really lovely idea!

We gave our MW a photo of her and Caitlin and a bunch of flowers. Wish I'd thought of the stork thing. Oh well, there's always next time

Thats a great idea, and you could add a note, "Don't spend all the $4000 at once.."

What a great idea the stalk was.  We gave our midwife a basket full of food goodies (The choc was her favourite!!!), along with a photo of her and Harlan after the birth!!

I didn't get around to giving my midwife anything until a bit later on, but sent her a thank you card at the six month mark - I really hope she is around when number 2 decides to arrive !

Cute Annie!

I gave my midwife earrings as she always had a different pair on when she arrived and they always matched her clothes

Actually... must track her down and give her an update. I'm a slacker.

Great idea Annie! I was slack and couldn't think of anything appropriate that summed up how much my midwife did for us so I ended up with sunflowers (they were really cool!) and a card with a photo and copy of the birth notice, and then I sent her a Xmas card with a photo of the girls and we went to visit her about 6 weeks ago.

I thought about getting her a greenstone, but have decided to wait until the girls turn 1. We'll get them greenstones for their first birthday (like we did with Maya) and will get a smaller one of the same design for Yvonne. She was so brilliant, I can't rave enough about her.

She absolutely loved it, she thought it was a great idea, and was really touched! I felt really sad it was our last visit
Becks, not too sure, shouldn't be more than about $25?

I get some money on Tuesday i'll go in then and have a look. I have to get the photos of the boys printed as well to give to her and then go and surprise her at her rooms with them both. I might get Andrew to give it to her, if he is behaving himself.
