Awwww, thank you! I just posted an update in Oct mummies, didn't even see this. You guys all rock
Surgery went fine, we were out of hospital by 9am so all over very quickly. She's happy as now, has sculled two full bottles and they're both now asleep. Sienna kept the nurses entertained with her rather innovative method of bottom shuffling around the day stay room.
Mercedes did have an allergic reaction to something, they suspect the anaesthetic, she swelled up around the face and neck and had welts on her neck, but it settled on it's own in about 1/2 hour so they have just marked her chart so that if she needs an anaesthetic again the anaesthatist will be aware of it. The specialist that did her ears said she had acute infections in both ears, plus heaps of pus, so lucky we had it down now rather than later down the track.
