Firstly thanks for all the well wishes, we really appreciate them I just thought I'd post a quick update for everyone that has been wondering how we're getting on.
Emma is doing really well. She's still in NICU and will be for 3-4 weeks still. She's breathing on her own with no problems, she's fully on b/milk so no other fluids etc and she's keeping her temp really well. She's already in a cot and is in the PIN room on a "feed & grow" plan - which basically means all she needs to do is gain weight and feed well from bottle/breast and we can bring her home She loves our kangoroo kuddles (and I do too) and we can hardly wait to bring her home!

Yes but no real success yet. To be honest I'm not too bothered if I need to express this time around too as I have all the experience I need from last time and I'm all set up for it |

You are one brave lady! I can't believe how long you express fed Gina for! The thought of expressing again makes me shudder!
Fingers crossed Emma gets that latch sorted to make your life easier!

   LOL Emma
To be honest I'm more afraid of b'feeding as it will be new to me - I've got expressing all sussed out and got all the equipment to do it - in fact I'm expressing as I type this (I have a double pump hands free kit )

Niiiiice! My double wasn't hands free so I was literally tied to it when I was expressing, couldn't even change the channel on the TV.

This hands free thing has been a god-sent, the best thing ever or I would not have lasted this long. Got it from the US last time around and I credit it with the reason I expressed for so long - and it only cost US$20 or so |
