Anyone else notice how it's unusually bright at the moment?? I thought we'd left the outside light on but it's just the sky!
It's like this amazing yellow glow.....

It's pink out the front of our house and really bright white out the back. Freaky eh?

Its turned a beautiful violet / lavender shade now - from our place we look up onto Mt Albert and the trees and mountain are silohetted (sp) against it and it looks fantastic!

There's a ring of orange around the horizon here now, it reminds me of the bushfires in Oz.

I wonder what it means... weather wise. At least it didn't go green. That's bad. Tornado weather!

It was like this last night too, went dark as normal then about an hour later was suddenly an amazing pinky orange colour, reminded me a bit of the northern lights...

It was like that here too! Absolutely gorgeous! I only saw it when it was really red/pink.
Normally the saying goes "Pink sky at night, shepherds delight, pink sky in the morning, shepherds warning". Meaning if pink at night, nice day following day, pink in the morning, it's going to rain.

Nice pic!
I've heard the Shepherds poem too, but they've forecast rain tomorrow so who knows.
