i was fine til the storm HIT...and then realised i was shaking a little and had my fingers in my mouth biting them.......OMG memories of hiding in the basement in usa with my kids to ride out the storm when we were hit with tornadoes....talk about repressed memory bank....! WOW!

Very scary to think that they are REAL and happen to REAL people huh?!?
One good thing about NZ ...Auckland in particular is that we don't get tornadoes often, and when we do they are pretty harmless!
I LOVE Gabrielle's character ...but I'm sooo like bree! LOL

I  Desperate Housewives! And I hate to be the bearer of bad news for everyone hanging out for next week but...it's off the air for 2 whole weeks as of tonight!
God knows why, stupid TVNZ, but next week it's being replaced by a Jim Carey movie

Its off for 2 weeks, lost is off for 4 weeks and Grey's is off for 2 (apparently. I think its not sctually TVNZ's fault...its due to the writers strike in the US.
They were talking about it on the breakfast show yesterday.

I don't envy the set designers having to bring all that "rubbish" onto the set. That must of taking ages to do. Lol sorry that's the first thing I thought of when they showed the street all messed up.
I have memories of sitting in the bath too when I lived in Kansas City. Those Tornadoes over there are so loud and so quick and so destructive.
