Eden had her first Plunet visit this morning and they gave us a gift... This is the first time ever i have received anything from them and this is my third child... it came in a reusable bag and it contained the new edition of the thriving under 5 book, a Plunket pamphlet, a Huggies nappy and sample body wash and a Book of colours and some number flashcards, with a voucher for another free book from the library too...

the 2008 version of the book seemed to have some great info re not feeding your child before 6 months and how at 3 months they may appear ready but it is merely a normal developmental stage; info re breastfeding till 2 yrs old; night waking in toddlers... lets just hope they have updated the plunket nurses too!!!!

Wow that is so cool. I got the bag when I had Josh but didn't have the rest of the stuff in there.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'm glad they've updated the thriving under 5 book, there was a lot of inconsistencies in the version we were given & I found our Plunket nurse often gave us conflicting advice.

LOL and the info you get from one always differs from what you've heard or read elsewhere... Maybe they need to get their wires fixed so they aren't so crossed hmmmm??

I have two copies of Thriving Under Five 2006, and it hadn't changed that much since the 2003 edition

I got the bag, thriving under 5 book and the change mat!

Foxxy_one - for some reason those that end up staying at chch womans miss out on the black/white book. It comes seperate to the bounty bag.
