Jake has developed a "cuddly", but there aer two problems.....first - it's huge, king single sized blanket that he insists on dragging places. second - it was a gift to TAINE!!! so, now I have to seacrh high and low to buy another one so they can have one each.

lol, i shouldnt laugh but that is really cute, if not a little bit annoying.
im sure you will find on for Taine, besides i dont think Taine is really going to notice at this early stage.
can you remember where you got the first one from or who gave it too you? maybe you can try asking them where to get another one from

Hrmmm... Hannah is the same. She has never been attached to anything in her life (apart from me) but developed a freaky obsession with one of her scummy flannel sheets.
Thankfully as soon as I put it back on her bed she was fine. But now it's her giant animal blanket (which isn't that giant compared to Jake's cuddly). And, it's a home-made fleece blanket so I'm just going to cut it down when she isn't looking. The creche bag isn't big enough for me to lug that thing every day.
He may find something else to get attached to? Here's hoping it'll be a lot smaller

Oh cuddlies you gotta love them. Jayden became attached to the wee cot duvet he had and carried it everywhere, which in a way was great as when he was in hospital he was really settled. Then big brother was sick of his whineing one morning and decided to heat it up for him in the microwave. Hence to say bye bye blankie, it went up in flames. He has since and still is attached to big brothers thomas sleeping bag and it never leaves his sight at home. How old are they when they when they decide they no longer need it. Jaydens 4, we don't let him take it out now though as it's to big.
Maybe you could try and buy Jake a special blanket and let him pick it out. At least it might be a better size for you. I wouldn't worry to much if you can't find the exact blanket for Taine he will never know.

I love fuzzy bubba and fake bubba! I'm going to ask my step-sister where she got the blanket from. Jake also loves his brother's teddy bear, that HE chose to give Taine. Poor little taine won't have anything! Although just got him an exersaucer from trademe. It's in the shape of a car...hangon, I'll post it.

Oh thats a cute exersaucer. So cuddlies are what I have to look forward to a? I have a feeling that Xanda is going to be attached to a certain toy that is shaped like a flower, not very manly if you ask me, but he loves it.

I had a blankie, which I still have, and a duck called Chuffy... who I *think* is still "living", but in a box somewhere

I was gonna say just cut the blankie down - but if it's Taine's then hhhm i dunno, maybe just get him a new one
these are jammie bear and bunny, Ayjas and Paris's respectively. Jammie bear we have 2 of and bunny we have 3 of (to guard against tantrums at washing times and if they get misplaced), both are really scoady despite weekly washings. we know where to get more of bunny, but farmers don't stock jammie bear any more. if anyone sees one anywhere - TELL ME!!

My brother had a big bird soft toy and we went thru about 5 of them, then we could not find any more. Mum had to sew big bird three new pairs of legs and four new noses, my brother had him right up until he passed away, so he was 11 and still carrying around big bird. I think it was because he spent so much time in hospital that he had big bird for so long, and noone wanted to take it away from him as it was a comfort thing.

Ella has monkey and doggy.. they go everywhere with us, and she takes them to bed every night. I tried to get her attached to the monkey when I stopped breastfeeding but she decided she liked the dog too lol
She also "borrowed" a panda from her aunty's sisters (they aren't really related to her lol) and now she sometimes demands him too! Just lately she has become more attached to the monkey which is good as we have 2 of them and only one dog and panda!

Josiah has his Monkey, which goes everywhere with him and he sleeps with at night. Kiya has a teddybear - Cuddles, that was mine! We've only got one of each, but we can get another Monkey... Cuddles is irreplaceable (I bought him from Deka in 1988!)
