Topic: Where is it? Posted: 29 May 2008 at 10:12am |
I'm *sure* I saw a list on the main pages the other day setting out the basics that you should think about having for baby, but I can't find it today. Does anyone (Emma??) know where it is?
It had thinks like so many singles, so many whatever elses ... that sort of thing.
Unless of course I have finally lost the plot, which is entirely possible

That's the one Jess - thank you! I could have gone to the Baby Factory, but they tell you what they want you to buy, where the OB one looks like it's actually what you *need*.
And yes, I did mean singlets I blame No. 9 ... He got out on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Poor DH was trying to eat his brekky to the background music of me puking

Not a license to go crazy Ginger
And remember that you have so many adoring fans on here and in real life that you will probably be swamped with gifts for the long awaited no. 9.
P.S. Did we convince you when we were in Auckland that modern cloth were the way to go? I can send some to help sway you

I could be persuaded to donate a nappy or two to the "convert Ginger" cause too...

Oh yes, I'm an MCN girl all the way ... I have small sized Fuzzibunz to get me started (I bought them years ago!) and I just have to budget in to buy the mediums That's what the list is for Budgety, budgety, budgety!!
We've got a tight budget this year to pay off the renovations before going onto a single income, and then it'll be reeeally tight, so there'll be no going crazy in any direction ever again But, it's worth it. I even cringed picking up some boots that I laybuyed at the start of my IVF cycle (thinking that of course the cycle wouldn't work and they'd make me feel better at the end ) and wished I'd never bought them to start with! Nothing like a kick in the financial pants to remind you what a dollar is worth!

Damn, damn, damn. I wonder if it would be wrong to edit my above post to pretend I don't have any nappies already ...? (Well, actually, at the moment I don't - I lent them to my cousin about 18 months ago and I haven't seen them since ... there was about $300 worth of nappies, so I sincerely hope she's still got them!! )

Oh, and DH really wants to get the toilet attachment for rinsing bappies, but I'm trying to convince him it's a gimmick. I know exactly what'll happen - he'll end up hiding in the loo ksquirting me and the dogs with it and that's about all it'll get used for!

heeeehehehe OR... you could get it for the reverse. YOU hide in the loo. And then teach no. 9 how to use it to squirt dad.

*snort*
By the time No. 9 is in meds I am *hoping* (nay, dreaming!) that the gremlin creatures will be out of nappies so I will have a whole med stash to get rid of, coz of course I have a double stash and Chiara is only a single baby. Then again, if No. 9 is a double baby...

Yip - 8 weeks. 2 weeks from today
Actually, a pool might be kind of fun ... except what do the winners get? I suppose the joy of being right

But Mr TwoBlondinis loves his nappy gadget and was selling them like hot cakes at the expo last month. Send Mr Ginger my way and I'll see what deal I can do for ya
(Same goes for the mediums if you decide to go Honey Child, think of it as my baby gift to you guys )

Pffft busymum - I already have the bump! I've had it since 4 weeks!
Toni - we're going to need some more small Fuzzis (I think I have a dozen, and I'd really rather have about 18 I think) so I'll be in touch!
