Topic: Had to share.. Posted: 24 March 2006 at 11:03pm |
Ok, so i had to share. After our inpromptu t-shirt painting the other day for green day at daycare - i decided to go and get some proper fabric paint and liven up some of the girls plain coloured daycare clothes. (well, that and i saw the spotlight cataloque with fabric paint for $3, and puffy paint too which i had when i was little)
Anyway i have finally finished the first one - the fron thas the puffy paint all puffed up, the back picture of the cookie jar has yet to dry and be puffed but i couldn't resist posting pics.
Paris thinks it's so kewl, possibly the best $3 i've spent in a while.

I have seen the warehouse has plain white tees with felts (dont wash off in wash) but instead of felts u could use the paints guess.idluv to do that but Xander is more interested in Thomas.i will have to wait till H is older i guess.
I think spotlight have the draw/paintable tees too

lol Roksana - there is plenty i can't do.
I can't play sport to save myself - only thing i ever did that vaguely resembles sportyness is i was a gymnast up until i was 17.
I also am not really an outdoorsy type of mummy - hence why i am lillyskinned - and like inside activities - I so wish i was one of those mummys who has the drive to actually go walking/jogging with their babies and go on bush walks and all that - i would be too scared to go on a bush walk, even through the esplanade walking track - (oh my god, what if a spider jumped off a tree or an insect landed on me...??!! i kid you not these are real fears) lolol - i see you all laughing now.

oooh, Becs, there are plenty of big sizes - well there were when i went in - all around size 3 and 4. although i wonder if their sizing is weird cos the size 3 only just fit paris, and quite snuggly.
instead of stencils - just type in google!
type in whichever character you want and then put colouring pages at the end of it - that way you get outlines... and you can just print them onto paper, then stick em inside the tshirt and trace them through with pencil.
there is one site called colouringbookfun.com i think, it has heaps of different characters
