Heya Girls,

Well I haven't been on here in ages cause I have been working LONG as days and to tell you the truth I am getting sick of it (am doing full time at the mo but after easter i'll be part time)
Anyway after days and days of sitting at the desk staring at the computer that I can't go on the internet, doing work, drooling over a few hot guys that come in to the office (and bugger off again!) I have realised that my exercise programme has gone out the window!! - I use to walk to the cowshed and back everyday which took 15 mins (up and down and big hill) and cause I am workin and not milking I park outside the door!!
Yesterday morning I took the morning off as childcare couldn't take Arna, got a WOF on the car and walked around our new town (Inglewood) - on the way back to pick up the car I came across a Gym and thought "this might get my a into g" - walked in and their prices are CHEAP AS! for a full weight loss programme and all that stuff it is $200 for 6 months and they are open until 9pm! So I am joining today!
The reason I am getting into the gym is a) it is too dark to go for a walk when I get home, b) tried on my wedding dress the other day and is a size 16 and i feel like "crap" when I am wearing it - the dress suits me and i LOVE it but I can see my stomach poking out and I hate that so my goal is to lost my tummy tyre and fit into a 14 in six months!!

So that's my weight loss ramble - Oh and in the time I have been working I've put on 5 kilos

Sorry for the novel and Happy Birthday to anyone who has had a birthday, congrats to anyone who has found out they are pregnant and baby dust to all who are TTC!!

good for you Lena. have decided to try and lose weight now that I'm not breastfeeding taine anymore. I'm thinking about joining weight watchers, but am going to wait (hehe) until we move to Gisborneso I can concentrate - that and have several important events coming up.

Good on you. That is really cheap aye, wish i could find something like that. Im really motivated at the moment to lose weight but of course there is no chance of that for a while! Hubby and I have decided to start playing squash when baby arrives, its cheap and something we might both like and a bit more exciting than just walking which he hates.

Yeah wheres my magic wand when I need it??
I am taking the puppy (well shes pretty much a dog now!) for a walk to the cowshed this arvo AND walking home again (that hill really is daunting!) so that should get me on my way - off to the gym monday night after work, would go this weekend but have hardly seen david or Arna this week so its family time - only reason I'm on here is that they are both asleep in the car...

I was breed and born in Taranaki! Manaia in fact. On a dairy farm.. now have moved to the city, Christchurch. City slicker now, not much fun, have convinced hubby to move back out to farmlife, somewhere! Still have my red bands though!

How hard is it really to loose weight? I thought that it was much easier than this! Maybe I am eating way too much, try to go for walkies, but hard when the weather has been crap here. Sorry for rambling on! Anyone in CHC that wants to go walkies?
