OK, so call me anal retentive - but one of my hobbies is finding spelling/grammatical errors in signs (not that I'm always perfect, however).
This one just takes the cake.
I found it in Whitcoulls.....of all places...
And in the children's section no less..

And it wasn't like it was on one sign - it was all three!!
One at each end of the stand and one in the shop-front window!!

Oh dear. That kind of stuff winds me up too!
Here's a question for you though - why is "All you can eat!" OK but "Eat all you can!" sounds weird?? Try explaining THAT one to a taxi driver

Drives me nuts too. I especially hate it when reading books or news articles - that's what editors are for aren't they?!

I would have told them - I'm like you Charly.
My current hate is this teeshirt that DH got for Christmas.
I was with my sister when she got it and remarked I would have to get out the fabric pens to add an apostrophe - she was scandalised that I would say that within earshot of the staff.
ETA: I actually like the teeshirt apart from that missing apostrophe.

I hate that too. There is a fruit stall here (a big commercial one) and the have SO many spelling mistakes. On their main front they have "Naturelly" Then inside they had Strawberrys, Boysonberrys, Rasberries and a place for Cherrie stones. Grrrrrr!!!! Muppets!!! I wont buy my fruit from them.

LOL - I would love that shirt if it had the apostrophe. It made me crack up. How annoying!

LOL I love the shirt
The spelling things crack me up more than they bother me. Charly, you better be nice to us all or we'll bombard you with incorrectly spelt pm's

You know me all too well, my love
However, I was tempted. But having worked in retail since I was 15 I could just hear the conversations that poor staff member would be having around her dinner table that night
There was a sign down the road from me once - missing an apostrophe.
So I took the dog for a walk, with a vivid pen, and added it.
The following morning they had twinked out the apostrophe!!
And I love that t-shirt!
hahah Freesia, I don't mind it so much on here as I know that a lot of posts here are posted in a hurry without a lot of care (guilty!!!), but when it comes to things like that it really bugs me

It's from www.mrvintage.co.nz
This is my fave from there at the moment but unfortunately none left in DH's size - otherwise he'd be getting it for next Christmas.
I can't believe those people twinked the apostrophe out Charly - you'd think they'd go and check and realise their mistake.

I just told my friend who works at Whitcolls who laughed at it at well and said they have stupid people in Marketing. She is going to look at it tomorrow (if she goes in to work) and then ring marketing and give them schite.
