Topic: had my scan yesterday Posted: 03 August 2006 at 9:57am |
baby was being a stubborn wee cashew nut! arms over chest so couldnt measure heart, and legs together so couldnt see bits. but i showed that little cashew nut! i went to the loo and peeed and jumped up and down and jiggled a bit, and that pushed it off the couch lol. Baby is great, a little small for dates, but after its big sister was 5 lb 15 oz we kinda knew it would be little. and so we know the flavour
dh last night made up an awesome powerpoint presentation to email to everyone, to tell them the flavour, if you want to see it pm me with your email addresses and i will... its really cool!

Great idea about jumping around... I went for my scan 2wks ago and my little man curled himself into a ball and put a fist in the air... I now have a great pic of his fist and boy bits, but need to go back for repeat scan next week as the sonographer was unable to see the cord insertion and kidneys.... the upside is I get to see my baby again

haha, it was more a desperation thing - i had to know!!! and seeing as he measured everything he needed to, i knew i wouldnt get another scan. so jump jump jump everyone!
i reccommend trying to wake your baby before you go, i knew it was asleep beforehand, so was half expecting it to be curled up - after all, it isnt a king size bed in there you know!

thanks, we are quite proud of it.
we decided this way we get a say in how family is told, rather than my dad and dh's mum blabbing away to everyone - we get to do it! its really cool the reactions we have been getting :)
