Hi Ladies,
Some of you know me already from the few months I spent on the IVF chat thread before we got our BFN and had to go back on the waiting list I just thought i would pop on quickly and let you know I have started a blog about my infertility journey so far and my quest to become a mum. If you're interested the link is below.

i enjoyed you blog too, I felt for you reading about your EC tho, there is nothing worse than feeling things when your not supposed to
hope this isn't being to nosey but i see that you had one cycle cancelled. Was that under public funding and does that count as one of your 2 goes that you get under this?

Thank you so much for all your wonderful feedback
Keep reading because I have alot more to share! This is just the beginning . . .
ROSIEFARMER: Sorry for the confusion but I'm not a mum myself yet. The story you would have read was the first of a number of success stories written by some wonderful friends of mine that they have allowed me to post on my blog. I felt it was really important and uplifting for those of us struggling to know that their can be a happy ending. I am still in the process myself, first IVF cycle was cancelled, second was a BFN and start my third in September. I have now edited that post with some subtext to avoid any further confusion. Glad you are enjoying it though!
MINXY: How are you hon? How's the pregnancy going? How far along are you now? It's been so long!
ROOELLA: Good luck with your cycle!
Hi to everyone else who posted!

RACHB: Forgot to say that no, that cancelled IVF cycle doesn't count. If I recall correctly, if you don't get an embryo to transfer back it isn't counted. Best of luck!

Oh crap ....sorry for my misunderstanding - Nightingale. Wish you well with your journey. Fx'd for you and your DH.
I am nearing the end of my 1st IVF cycle. Transfer hopefully on Monday then the dreaded 2ww. I have been TTC for 15 years ( I have a 16 yr old, which also took 2 yrs to concieve), the last 5 yrs with my new DH, and the journey is way easier with someone that actually cares about what you are going through....Thanks again for sharing your story. xx

ROSIEFARMER: No worries at all!! How did you go with your cycle? Wow, 15 years is a long time, you poor thing How are you coping? I hope you had some good news!!!
MINXY: Thanks for asking after me honey!! I'm ok thanks, feeling a bit anxious about our next attempt being our last public. No idea how we would possibly afford to go private which is why I am struggling with the anxiety. I'm a forward thinker so not worrying about it until it happens is not in my vocabulary!! I want to work it out first so I have my back up plan in mind! LOL. How are you???

I'm a lurker here, not going through IVF but I have suffered from recurrent miscarriage so I guess fertility problems to a degree. I just wanted to say I LOVE your blog and have saved it to my favourites, if nothing else it makes me smile every day. I wish you all the best and I hope your dream of being a mum comes true very soon

Hey Nightingale - BFN for me, my bloods were 7, less than 5 is a negative above 60 is positive, I have to have another bloodtest on Tuesday to make sure my levels are going down. Have been spotting. We are both rather dissappointed, but life has it cruel twists and turns. Just got to pick myself up and get ready for frozen embryo transfer.

Hi Nightingale, I am the same, nodding along with so many things, such as staying in a job you are over, etc! Luckily (lol) redunancy forced me to make the leap to a new job - now been there over a year and still not pregnant, so glad I was forced into the change! It's this kind of thing that people don't realise about infertility, and your blog nails it on the head - love it chickadee.

ROSIEFARMER: I'm so sorry to hear it was a BFN How are you coping? I wish IVF was a definate fix rather than just another thing to try (((BIG HUG)))
HAPPYGAL: Yep, second publicly funded cycle in September! I need to get my A into G and start preparing! LOL. Good luck for yours too! We will be cycle buddies. I'll be back on the IVF chat when that comes about.
ROOELLA: Sometimes it takes things like that to get us moving! It took my failed IVF cycle to wake up and smell the coffee (literally! Hehe) How's your cycle going?
Hi to everyone else reading! I have now started a FB page (hit 'Like' on my blog) and you can get updates whenever I write a new post. Thanks for all your support thus far!! xox

Hey Girls,
Just popping by to say hi and see how everyone is! Can't believe it's August next week and then we'll be starting next month! Aaaagggghhhh! Started the antibiotics today for the ureaplasma and cut out the caffiene and alcohol as of tomorrow! Not looking forward to the non-caffienated version of myself, tend to be a bit grumpy . . .
