Topic: Wheres the Huggies?? Posted: 15 September 2006 at 1:34pm |
In my nesting efforts, I'm determined to order the Huggies newborn playmat. We still need to get a playmat, and are gonna need nappies anyway, so it's a win-win, right?? But with enough newborn-size naps already, I'm trying to buy 3 packs of Huggies Girl's Infant size naps... 4 shops later and no-one has them!!! Anyone know where the Infant-size girl's nappies have gone?
I've got an extra barcode that counts for the promotion if anyone wants it - I'll post it out to ya. I just need 3 more nappies ones. Anyone got some spare, that you're not gonna use for anything?

Sorry I haven't got any nappy ones, I used mine to get the playmat. I do have a heap of the washcloth, change mats and wipes ones tho (thanks Huggies for the freebies!)if anyone else needs them.
Have you tried a shop that doesn't belong to Progressive? Their shelves are looking more than a little sad atm...

New World and Pak n Save are owned by Foodstuffs so aren't affected, although our local NW was struggling a bit to keep up with demand last week.
Our local Countdown (Progressive) however were down to 6 jars of baby food in the entire store. I felt sorry for the lady standing there with her baby trying to decide which one to buy, such a huge choice and all!

Hmmm - our New World and Pakers were both out, but maybe that's because people who need them have had to clean out their stocks since no-one else has them!

Probably! I wish I could help...
I am not allowed to shop at Countdown atm coz my union obsessed truck driver neanderthal male is backing the union... but I sometimes sneak there during the day coz I can't be bothered driving to NW!

Andie if you have shop 'n'go at palmy pak'n'save they are really cheap so that maybe why they have run out. But I do know if you say something to them in the shop they will have it freashly stocked for the next day.

Hmmmm.... sounds worth asking at Pakers - thanks Becks! Only now it won't be this pay period where I go shopping (alas!!).
Hey My2Angels, PM me your address and I'll post my extra barcode out to you. I was given the change mats and already had the wipes. If anyone's got spares of the nappies barcodes, I'd love to give you my address!!

I think I saw some at Pak n Save yesterday Andie...
OT, but do you get stuff cheaper if you use shop n go? I dont always use it cos it can be a pain with hannah trying to grab the scanner thing or my shopping list or the groceries!

Yeah they have specials that change every week with shop'n'go. This week (finishing today Sunday) had beer, formula, nappies and something else on special that you get at the computer thing when you first go in. I also find that if Countdown has something on special then Pak'n'Save will have it at least 1c cheaper.

I had that problem, Paws, and in the end I found a tub in The Warehouse! By that stage I didn't care how much it cost as I couldn't get refils for my other tub anymore, but it was only about $1.50 more than the supermarket.

Can you only put Huggies wipe into a Huggies container? That means I have to go on a look out for one soon then. I've got Huggies wipes for this baby (as I find them so much easier to clean up newborn mess) but I was going to put them into the container I already have which is a pop up container.
