Thanks 2xMummy, congrats to you too on your boy! There is definitely a boy boom at the moment I know of sooo many having/had boys! I'd love another boy, but midwife thinks I may have another girl.
How long have you been in Welcome Bay/Tauranga region? I've lived here all my life. We are in Baypark, so handy to Bayfair, Dr's, Plunket, etc!
Hi to Baysmum too.

Thank you Italiah! I'm sooo excited about having a wee boy (he's not actually 'wee', quite big really!! ) His name will be Lucas Noah
I've lived in Tauranga (various parts) since I was about 13, now 27. We've only been in Welcome Bay since early Dec last year, I like it here but it's very Hilly! Makes thinking about going for a walk even harder, LOL!!!
I live with my lovely DP Mike & DD Minardi, Minardi is only with us 4 nights a week, the other 3 she's with her Dad.
What about you? How long have you lived here?
I only just noticed your wee Gia shares the same birthday as my Minardi! But she is 29/10/2001 I was 10 days overdue with her!!!

We're in Kawerau now.
Yup not long after you but il be having bubs in whakatane instead of Tauranga so may not see you. You never know - you might go overdue and then end up having bubs in july with me I wont be going overdue because of a condition i got with my son (olygohydrosis).
We are possibly having a boy also everyone including my MWs are dead set that its a girl but we dont think so

I was born in Greymouth but my family moved to the Mount when I was 6 months old - been here every since!! My parents still own the same house we were bought up in - a little renovated since the 80's though .
I've just turned 27 as well, been married 7 yrs!! Yeah I married quite young but no regrets have had an awesome married life. We built a home in Papamoa the year we got married - moved in on our 1st wedding anniversary. Sold it 15 months later & we traveled to Europe & England for 6 months. Came home, my husband set up his own decorating business, we "accidentally" fell pregnant with Rico - & been breading ever since - HAHA! But this is our LAST! Three children is plenty I think. My husband would love more (as they do.)
Gia was a week early - as was Rico. My MW thinks I only bake mine for 39 weeks. Hopefully this one will be the same!!

Oh Baysmum... I guess we wont be seeing eachother then! LOL!!
We kind of have a sense (as mum's) as to what flavour our babies are, I 'knew' I was having a girl first time round.
Geeeee I hope I don't go overdue this time Our last visit to the midwife she gave us the info sheet from our scan.... our bub is in the 97th percentile (normal is 50%!) for his measurements At the mo we could be looking at a 9lb - 10lb baby, LOL! Hopefully he'll run out of room soon & slow his growth down a bit!! Minardi was 7lb 10oz.
Italiah, what school did you go to? Be funny if we went to school together!!
Wow married for 7 years, good on you! Sounds like you've got a very happy life
DP Mike tells me he'd like 4 children! I think we'll just see how we go after this one!!

I went to good ole' Mt College, from 93-96.
I guess you're stressing bit with perhaps having a big baby?? Mine were 8lb 15 oz & 8 lb 8 oz. But being 3rd baby they can get big!! My sisters first 2 were small at 6 lb & 7 lb, then her 3rd popped out 9lb!!! All girls too.

I went to Tauranga Girls from 93-96!
When I first found out that he was 'big' I was very stressed but I'm kinda over it now! Just hoping he'll be a bit early.... I really want a June baby for some reason?! Both DP & my B'days are in June. He's healthy & that's all that matters. We have to go for another scan at 32w to check my placenta & his size. Maybe a referral to a specialist if he's to big!
Oh well, he has to come out so not point worrying about it!

hehe I was told at a scan i had at 36 or 37 weeks with my son that he was going to be at least 11lbs!!!! it scared the living C**P! out of me! but when he was born a week or so later he was only 7lb 14oz! but 57cms long!!! (unusually long! ) and they were taking measurements off his legs hense the big estimate!! he also turned out to be 3 weeks overdue instead of early!!. we didnt know dates but found this out by the state of him when he was born and the Olygohydrosis i had developed! So he may well have been even smaller if born when he was meant to!! so dont be too scared off by their estimates!
all of my family seem to have smaller bubs as they move along - my SIL had a 8lb 7oz girl first then a 7lb 8oz boy second then a 7lb 2oz girl third!.

Glow, I know it was ages ago huh!!! Mrs Hynds, was she a PE teacher? OMG I can't really remember!!
Baysmum, I'm not to worried anymore! I was a small bub, DP was a small bub so I guess I wont know til my lil Lucas arrives. We knew Minardi was very overdue because she was peeling on her hands, heels & face
Yes we should set up a 'coffee/mummy group'!! I know LOTS of at home mummies, we could probably book out a movie theatre for just us, LOL!!!!!

Mum used to live in the Bay & id be there all the time. Havent been there since. But still have lots of freinds and family there
