I recommend not using names that match/rhyme for siblings.
My brother and I both have names that sound the same - Blair - Fleur and we were forever ignoring our mother cause we thought she was calling the other one.

I like Ella and Jessica, Travelgirl has named one of her twins Jessica Hazel and I think it's really pretty.

Slightly off topic.
How many of you chose a name for your baby before it was born, and then changed your mind afterwards?
And if so, what was your first choice and what did name did you choose in the end?

I like Paige and Jasmine. They are both very good names.
Try going to www.babynamegenie.com and do the baby name test drive. We tested the girls name we've picked on here (getting ahead of ourselves). It can help with middle names too.

Good question Fleury, I wonder the same thing - we picked our girls name nearly two years ago. Quite sure that it will stick if we have a girl though. I know my cousin changed hers when her boy was born. They had decided on Finn and ended up naming him Oscar. It really suits him.

I had my names picked early, Kobes before we knew if he was a boy or girl he would have been kobe just spelt differently and I still love both names. I always thought if i had a son it would be Jonty and a girl Emma. Addi was almost Chloe until i heard the name addison
My brother has a madeline who is six weeks older than addison, now we have a maddi, addi, emme (pronounced em-e), amy and a hannah who we call hanny so its pretty confusing.

On the 'Ella' front though, what about something along the lines of Bombshell's idea for her daughter - Ella for a nickname and Gabriella as her name? it's a pretty way to get around there being so many Ella's already...
