We put ours up last night and got the lights on, so after I've gone decoration shopping (and finished the tree) today I will take some pics of ours.

oh goodness, i only just saw the time on that post
i was going to have a tree but then DP pointed out that if we do put one up we'll be constantly trying to keep mikey from pulling everything off it and then pulling it down. maybe next year when we can explain it to him a bit better.

We have ours up and the kidlets have large;ly left it alone...apart from jake who likes to help decorate, and doesn't realise decorate isn't throwing things atr the tree....the problem we have is Taine getting into my wardrobe and opening pressies, so nothing under our tree as yet!

My warehouse xmas tree... hehe, it actually has tons of decorations all over it but you can't really tell that much in that light. We decided to have just one colour on our tree
There were actually 2 more presents under it but DH and I have been naughty and already opened them

Very pretty!
Liz we have decided to put the pressies all out sometime on Christmas Eve with the kids... that way we're all still involved and excited etc but I don't have to "Police" the present-touching for two weeks In the meantime they're all safely up high in a spare wardrobe

We tend to put them all out the night before - so for me it will be once I finish work. Here's hoping the girls don't wake too early cos I'm thinking that it'll be after midnight before i get some sleep. lol.
Here's some pics of our girls decorating their little xmas trees, and then our "big" (ha ha 4 ft..) xmas tree we put up yesterday, We got the girl's fairy decorations this year, and the little horsey was pris's first one from us.. the bear is the first one for her from nana.. and i just relised that we didn't buy them last year. how slack is that!
We went for purple silver and blue this year... looks very overkill compared to the rest of the pics.
will come back later and post the pics... kids needy

LOL Ella....I was the same...went to the warehouse to buy a tree...while we were looking Zaara pulled one of the tree and it was nearly on the floor when Atish caught it.....we walked away quitely with the * it wasnt us* look on our face.....so we decided that when they have the half price sale this year we will buy and keep for next xmas!!
Mum has a tree at her place so Zaara can entertain herself with that!!! He he ha ha her loss not mine!!

Mess schmess.... I just can't quite bring myself to give up the family tradition of having a real tree. It's gonna cost me a fortune! Usually Dad just cuts the top off one of our trees... or acquires one from a roadside.
I'm off on a mission now. Will have to borrow someone's camera to post a pic of it. May have to also buy some decorations. I have about 3 ornaments in my collection. It's a bit sad.
