What should I take on the plane for lucy to play with? Don't want to take too much as I have to carry it and have enough stuff already! We are only travelling to Palmy from Christchurch so it's about 1 hr 20 mins.

I am sure that she will hassle all the other passengers so that will take up about 1/2 an hour.

Things that she can't make a big mess with!

What is she into? I can't remember back that far.. we went to Aussie with Ella at that age.. I think I took some washable stamps from the Warehouse.. she loved those.. she stamped all over the notepaper I took with me. Buy her a new book too if she's into them.. some little snacks for her to eat. It's not really that long on the plane, if she hasn't been on one before, the excitement of it might just be enough!

My one piece of advice: if you take a drink bottle for her with a straw, open the straw up first before you take off.. otherwise the pressure when you're flying will mean that when you open the bottle, your toddler will be wet. Was kinda funny when Ella did it, but not so fun having a sopping wet child to change

ive travelled up to tauranga a few times which is only an hour too. you think that you will need lots of stuff to entertain her but once you get on the plane you realise that you're lugging all that stuff around for nothing.
I took a bottle to have when landing and maybe a book and thats it really. One toy will probably be enough because you're right they prefer to look at all the other people. food is always good.
and really its only an hour. Good luck.
