We'll all agree that I have a bit of a warped sense of humour ...
I just played a very naughty prank on my Mum and Dad.
Earlier this evening my brother text my Mum and Dad (they live in Oz) to say that my SIL's waters had broken (she's due 9th Sept) and they were at the hospital (Yay! Exciting!! An imminent niece!!). And, that he was turning his mobile off until baby is born, and to keep the airwaves clear. He'd text or phone as soon as there was something to say. Mum, as Mum does, was having hysterics. First grandchild and all, and all the way over in Oz ...
So, I waited a couple of hours, and then sent a text message saying ...
Haha! Made you look! 
And got one back from Dad to say he was too busy picking Mum up off the floor to text back

My DH did that to his Mum 4 times while I was in labour I should add that it was the wee small hours of the morning too

I have a niece!!! Tra la la!!
Amelia Rose was born at 8.03am Australian time (I just got the call) by c/s - 5 pound 14 and a half ounces.
Apparently she is ready to hit the ground running Her eyes are apparently darting all over the place, and she's happy as a clam.
I sooo want to get on a plane to Australia right now!!
Ooo and (her Dad is my brother) she has our family nose (on Mum's mum side) and eyes (and Mum's Dad's side ... thank goodness because on my Dad's side the nose is enormous!!).
*Sigh* Happy Aunty ...
