Rhiannon has discovered how to take her nappies off, i am using mummys touch and disposables at night, but now that she can take them off, how to i keep them on.

on the bright side, she takes them off then goes and sits on the potty so she is starting to train herself, and she went and brought me her little pair of panties to put on when she took her nappy off...

problem being is i dont want to have big wet patches all over my floor and furniture all day, so need to somehow keep the nappies on

Does she wear singlets that have domes on them? Cause then at least she would have to battle the domes first if she wanted her nappy off

i was going to suggest that too stacey. or you could try putting the nappys on backwards, so she cant feel the velcro.

i hope it is just a stage she is going through, but how clever to be sitting on the potty and bringing you knickers!

wow what a clever girl!!   jack started doing that too when he was in disposables (but not sitting on potty!) and i'd have to tape his nappy on, maybe you could try that?

You could still put them on backwards with domes. That's what I had to do with Ella's for a while before her fascination with undoing them ended!
Also bought a bunch of cheap onesies from the warehouse, so like Stacey said, it was harder to get at them!

yep backwards worked for us...also toby never undid his nappies if he had pants over the top...mind you if she is able to take off her long pants and her nappy and sit on the toilet maybe you should think hard about toilet training...?

yeah i am thinking about toliet training, but she is giving mixed signals, for example she takes her nappy off and sits on the potty, but she will also go in no2s in her little panties and not notice it.

do the backwards thing then...just make sure you put the stuffing in the right place. oh and i've also heard overalls are good for kids who take off their nappies.
