I know, I saw the lat episode when it aired in the states and there were some very angry people over there when it happened. They keep saying that they have left it open to do another series but they have said that was the end. There was also talk of a movie.

we watched it too - must admit its the only one we have watched in a long time... Dh was most p#ssed off - although I dion't think he knows there is no other!
 what about the guy whose head got ran over by his own car??

umm i think is had to do with a theropy session in which tony wondered what it would be like to die, and he though it would just be like the lights went out. ergo, tony has dies, lights out, the end. Very arty for the sopranos.

DH and I were talking about and came up with another theory - the way it was just left hangin was like.....when you live that life, even when you think that things are going good, you never know what will happen next or when it will all be over.

Yeah I agree with SimSam that's sort of what we thought sort of like there is no peace or satisfaction when you live your life like that.
They usually use those sort of endings on movies to keep you thinking but it just was right for the soprano's, I felt really ripped off!

i just watched the ending on youtube, and i dont watch the show, so dont know the characters, but an ending like that annoyed me, so must have really got the fans knickers in a twist!
