Easy question I hope..

Where's the best place to get summer shoes/sandals for Daniel??

(other than No1 shoes - been there and they had tons of girls stuff and only 1 pair of crap boys sandals!)

I only want 1 pair, I know he doesn't really "need" them. MIL goes stupid when Daniel doesn't have any shoes/booties on. It's just easier if I have one pair so I don't have to listen to her harp on! lol plus they are cute!

In December he'll be the same age Ella was at her first Christmas.. and I have no idea what she wore on her feet back then.. so helpful, aren't I?

Actually - I used to just put cute socks on her for a while.. maybe that will shut MIL up?

Farmers and BabyCity sell soft leather shoes just like Bobux (but for $25).  'Pitter Patter' is the brand.  Ella lives in hers... but I can't wait till it's warm enough for her to bare-foot it around the place!  The softer the better, for baby shoes - those bones are still forming.

We got some awesome seconds from hoof and they've been great. My three year old has only ever worn(and will only wear GRRRRR) crocs. The proper ones. He got some for his first birthday and wont wear anything else now. In saying that, apparently they've done some studies in the US around correct walking etc and crocs are great for their walking and their back. Also very handy as you can wash them easily. Our little one now has his first pair too. They're expensive however they only need one pair.

www.2feettall.co.nz. We're about to stock their products on our own website, we've just trialled them and they're really neat. They have some on sale too and they are the soft soled ones that are suitable for babies.

Their boy stuff is even better than the girl stuff in my opinion.

T&T, but I wouldn't bother. During the middle of summer he'll just get hot feet anyway!
