thats a bugger.
ive had a productive day, did heaps and heaps of washing and even managed to fold and put it away which doesnt normally happen for at least another two days.
Got my groceries done, had a friend over for coffee and spent a nice afternoon in the garden playing with the kids.
Hubby has gone out for tea, Addison has just put hand cream all through her newly washed hair thinking it was mousse like daddy uses so now she smells even better but is all greasy and slimy oh and pink because about ten minutes before that kobe flicked his raspberry drink at her and it went all through her hair. Roll on 7.30pm when the kids are in bed and its time for a wine!
how was everyone elses day?

Bugger for the cancelled OB appt and doubly for missing the Oct mums meet up.
First thing this morning I took the three kids to the Welly buggy walk at the botanical gardens and meet up with some welly mums there. It was really windy but I was just happy it wasnt raining as my girls were looking forward to it. Came home and cleaned the house for the rest of the day so nothing exciting here this arvo!
Wow not long to go now for you

I've had a long day, not quite well so that's the biggest thing. Have just started working again (30 hours) with DH the SAHD for a while and that seems to be going pretty well. He's even not bad at cooking!
Totally OT but when is your anniversary Kate? A couple of us were married on 22/02/03 and it looks like you might be the same or the week before.

Me, Spencer, my Mum and my cousin all went out for a drive along the inland scenic route, was a bit windy but nice. Spencer was a very good boy all day.

I looked at wallpaper samples, and then had a sleep. Then got a call in the middle of my sleep from Andrwe preschool to say he had sore ears. So I picked him up and then took him to his specialist's appointment (for his ears) and then came home. DH made dinner then bathed both kids both into bed (at different times). My parents rung me to see how things were going told them about Andrew - well he did. Just spoke to my friend who is moving into town tomorrow (so can't wait for that). Then just had a run around the back yard with DH , we were noisy. Now i'm just waiting for my bath to run and then i'm having a good soak.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

i had a long day (at work) and felt really emotionally and physically drained for some reason, was on the verge of tears all day, and couldnt be bothered going home and doing the mum thing either, (i did of course) just wanted to run away today,ah i dunno, i feel a bit better now that ive had a bath.
Just one of those days i guess, and now im annoyed at myself cos it was such a beautiful day to be in a bad mood, what a waste!

Oh boy I so feel for you Kate, bed rest sucks the big one! If you get really bored, go back and dredge up the Due in Oct '06 thread and on the last few pages you'll see me moaning about how much I hated bedrest too! I hated not being able to drive, losing my independence...
But moving on! Had an OK day yesterday. Car failed it's blimmin warrant to the tune of about $600 which is a bugger right before the gremlins birthday and our trip to Wellington, but such is life. Maya and I went and hung out at Lynn Mall while the car was in the shop and bought a few bits and pieces, I bought her a Babar the elephant DVD and she came home and was totally glued to it all afternoon, *sigh* brings back memories of when I was a kid!
