Topic: Pregnancy bra Posted: 08 October 2007 at 12:05pm |
Yesterday I was in Farmers and they were having 30% off underwear etc and I purchased one of the new Bendon Motherlove Pregnancy bras and it is FANTASTIC!!!! While I haven't gotton much bigger (maybe only a cup size) I was finding my old bras a bit uncomfortable but this is great - it has a 'innovative flexiwire for comfort and support without restriction while growing'.
I'm ging to have to get another one!!!

Yeah I want to get some of those - but will wait until I need a proper maternity/nursing bra.

I love hotmilk too ... I got the whole range and I agree about the comfort and support, I went to Smith and Caughey and got fitted properly and tried just about every bra they had...but HAD TO have the hotmilk bras once I tried them on!

The bendon motherlove range LOOKS great, but try and actually find them in Chch - doesn't happen! Even the actual Bendon shops haven't got more than 3-4 styles in, and they're the hideous matron-like ones. There was one pretty one there, but alas it only goes up to DD. I'm going to try and get fitted for a Hotmilk one tomorrow, as they look so pretty (thanks Lilfatty btw for the link in Jan mums thread!)

I guess it depends what size, and if you were looking for pregnancy or maternity bras. I was utterly confused as to why there's less support (eg, the flexiwire etc) as the sizes go up? Should it not be the other way around? I can tell you my puppies need a bit more support than little B or C cups do! The bras made me look like I'd all of a sudden succomed to gravity, they were so gross. (Can you tell I'm not a fan of no-underwire bras?! )
