Cook one whole chicken,
when cold break all meat off and put in a casserole dish.
In a saucpan heat one bottle of cream, add tbsp curry powder and pkt of maggi mushroom soup
Add touch of white wine and put in casserole dish with chicken and heat through
serve with rice and salad or veg
This is my mums famous recipe but she puts sherry instead at the end instead of wine!!! Oh my goodness you will end up scraping every last drop out of the cassarole dish as our family does. Its fantastic!!!
ohhh sounds so good! Do you use the normal 300mL bottle of cream or the large 500mL? And a touch of wine ~1Tbsp or more?? Thanks - can't wait to make this!
We've made that! We use mushrooms in it too and you can also use raw chicken but increase teh cooking time ;-) Very tasty and a crowd pleaser - an awesome pot luck plate.
