...find tap water gross at the moment? I rang the Council but they don't know what's up, just a suggestion that it might be mixing up because of too much rain. Ugh it tastes like metal and I usually love to drink water but not today!!!

Ring back the Council and ask that when they do their daily samples from around the city that when your house is in the zone that is due to be tested that you use your house as the sample point.

Each day they take a couple of samples from round the city from different zones. Each zone is usually tested every 3rd day or so, they have some fixed points they have to take samples for but when your zone comes up and its a random sample they can do it. And then you can request a copy of the results.

If they are bum holes to ya ring the Lab directly. 351 4475.. but shhh don't tell them I told you to do that lol..

I use to work in the Lab hehe..

LOL Stacey. I think that might have been what the operator referred to but she certainly took down my name, address and number. I told her I was also tasting it at work on The Square. Hopefully it gets sorted soon cause I usually drink 8 glasses a day without trying!

I'm so glad I'm not imagining it though. When you start tasting metal in the water your brain does some pretty weird things about pregnancy etc, even when you have your period LMAO!

We haven't had any issues where I am living. Infact i'm back on the water (drinking 4 litres a day) and its great.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Most filters don't actually get rid of all the bugs. It's good for kids though, makes them get use to all types of things. And it shouldn't taste yucky unless you get something dead in the tank.
