What do you reckon, worth the money? I'm looking for some sort of in-cot distraction for Alex and that one caught my eye.

Otherwise any other suggestions?

I think Bombshell has one for her wee lady, and she used to rave over it? I'm sure this will catch her eye...

We have this in Sam's cot. Only started using it a few weeks ago as she was still in the bassinette up until then - but have to say - LOVING IT!
Especially the sound of waves breaking. Knocks Sam out in the matter of moments!!

How long does it play for? Does it switch off automatically after a certain period or can you leave it on indefinitely?

we have one and addison loves it. Ive only really just now started turning it on again after the batteries ran flat and she thinks its the best thing since sliced bread (or shoudl that be bottles for babies)
It goes through the batteries pretty quickly and it does turn itself off but not sure how long it takes. addison just turns it back on herself if she wants to.

Hmmm we have it too and I personally didn't like it in the cot. I found that if i had anything playing, whether her mobile or the aquarium, then she wouldn't go to sleep as it distracted her. But she now has it in with her toys and just plays with it as a toy. I also found it didn't fit between our cot bars very well

That's not good. Have you managed to get it working? We didn't have any problems with ours so perhaps you did get a dud?

Sam turns hers on and off when she is awake, but at naptimes during the day (if she really is going to sleep) I have been finding it great. If she isn't really tired she will muck around with it. It should turn itself off, I think it goes for around 10 minutes.
