Topic: OMG I just got IDed Posted: 12 November 2007 at 3:43pm |
I went to the Mill for the first time in a long time as I felt like a couple of drinks tonight. So I went in and got a 4 pack of Tattoo's went to the register and the guy asked me for ID. I looked at him funny and said to him as I was pulling out my Drivers Licence. Do I seriously look under 25?? He said YES .
He laughed when he saw that I was 26, and laughed harder when I said my 19 year old sister doesn't get ID'ed, but I do WTF?!?!?!
I know I should take it as a compliment but hey I don't look that young do I??

I used to get id'd quite a lot when i was younger (but older than the legal age), but since I've stopped using hair dye, (and have the grey to prove it), not so much ... sigh. Might have to snap some gloves on (dye my hair) and relive my youth.

I got Id-ed a few weeks ago on a day I was both tired and cranky - I thought the lady was having me on but she insisted on seeing one! I'm 30 by the way and looked even older that day!
