Theres a lady i know , and that my mum knows whos really lovely ,shes had some pretty tough times , her son was killed crossing the road about , gosh, 14 years ago now when he was 12.
Anyway her youngest daughter (whom ive never met) is about 18 and recently had her first baby, except he was born quite early (tho i think not as early as Aidan ) and i found out today that after being in the incubator for 2 months he died, two days ago....
I want to pray for them but what do i pray for?obviously i cant pray for his survival now , but what? can i pray for peace, for some comfort to find them ?
I just really feel for that girl, so young to have something so tragic change your life....

I sometimes go to the lostones website, and read the poems, mainly so i can remember to be grateful my daughter is healthy and strong, and there is that poem i cant remember it exactly but it ends with
"and whispered gently as she closed the book
too beautiful for earth"

guess this was one of those times, the angels just let his family have some time with him on earth tho before they called him back.

That is so sad and it is so hard to understand isn't it. The poem sounds sad but lovely.

I think for the things you mentioned. For the support of others and for strength to deal with such a horrible loss. Even just for their needs at this time. You don't have to know what they are to pray for them.

I am really sorry.

I know that one, it goes something like "An angel in the book of life, wrote down our baby's birth, and whispered as she closed the book, too beautiful for earth". It's a nice poem.

hugs to you, I've had a few of the wee ones i've cared for pass away once they left for other hospitals. I always feel so so sad for the families. It's a really terrible thing tohappen especially to such a young mum as they are still really trying to figure things out in life themselves.
