Next week Andrew is having his operation (grommets back in and tonsillis and adenoids out, bout time as he got an ear infection last night), and whenever he has anything done in hospital I want to give him a small reward, so that he will be good about letting the nurses prod him and do all the things they need to do. I was thinking beads (like they do for child cancer patients) but then he is a boy so he can't really have that.I have done stickers before for toilet training, but if I don't get anything better then it'll have to do. Any Ideas??

Maybe a puzzle or a model car or train track or something, that you can give him a piece of each time you want to reward him?!

Trip to the park to feed ducks, ice cream at the beach or similar.
Or maybe a trip to the $2 shop to pick his own treat

Small truck? Will there be waiting time at the hospital, maybe something for that like a new set of crayons (etc) and a new colouring in book?
