Hi all,

We are new to NZ so don't have family support etc, etc. So does anyone know a reliable baby sitting service in the Wellington area?

My husband and I haven't been on a night out together since our son was born...a year ago.

I don't know of a professional service. But would be handy if anyone did as I was almost looking for one the other day.

If you need someone to babysit I'm often available. I have a one year old of my own and we are fairly flexible.

Thanks for the offer. I've managed to get a friend to sit with him tonight, but it's not ideal as she has a young babe that doesn't sleep very well. However she is insisting which is very kind.

Maybe I should start a business....!

you should cheeck out PORSE I think that is how they spell it the number is 0800 2porse they are really good and have casual babysitter's on their books

Heya, Im in Wellington too so if ya ever stuck just PM me too, Im Amy and I have a nearly two year old daughter.

That goes for you too Nikki, maybe we could do a swap thing every now and then as I dont really have babysitters down here either and Im sure the girls would have a blast together :-)
