I am due for baby the same time as Mikey's second birthday. How does it go having 2 the same month likely to be the same week? I don't want it to take away form mikey special day me going into labour.
i dont have children (hope you dont mind me lurking) but my friend had one baby july 05 and the next one july 07...he was 4 days old at his sisters 2nd bday...how she dealt with it was to mostly spend time with the older one.. and had dad deal with bubs for as much as possible of the time.. obviously she was feeding but when she was feeding we all made a massive deal of her and she had a fantastic day.. she thought she was going to go naturally but fortunately ended up elevetive c-section which they wanted the same day as her childs 2nd bday but she said no way and eventually sorted it out 4 four days early..how close are the due dates..the same day?
i have a friend whose little bro was born on his birthday and he alreaady shared his birthday with his mum and his grandad!!! he fund it hard at times but otherwise they all thought it was pretty amazing!!! and good for chats!
then in us my charges birthday was same as his grandads and the same day as mine!!!it was kinda cool to see all the celebrations together that year...
I have Alize on the 26th and Lesieli on the 29th of November and we call it birthday week Its lots of fun and as long as you are organised it isnt a problem at all.
Busy mum to Miss 15yrs, Miss 10yrs and Master 4yrs
We had Ayja due only a couple of weeks before Paris's birthday but she came a couple of weeks early making i think about 6 or so weeks between them.. It took a bit to do the party but we had already booked ages ahead the macca's party and i had everything done and sorted so that no matter what Paris's birthday was arranged long before.
Planning ahead usually does the trick.. it's nice having them closeish
My sister and I are 2 days apart (I was due on her 2nd birthday but was considerate enough to come early). A good thing is later on, not to take away from the child who's birthday comes first. I have always hated the fact that the day after my birthday, it's all of a sudden shifted from attention on me to attention on my sister. Oh, and don't ALWAYS do joint birthdays! Fun sometimes, but man can it make you feel less than special if it happens all the time.
My cousin was born on her dads birthday and they always managed to do separate celebrations which was cool.
my sisters birthday is on the 4th and mine is on the 5th i have always though it was cool to have our birthdays so close and her sons birthday is the 2nd so it is quite a busy week we have.
Nyah got Cooper as an early birthday present. He was born on the 5th September (due the 12th) and she turned 5 on the 7th. It just meant that I came out of hospital earlier than I'd planned and we had her party at home instead of where we'd planned to have it. She seemed ok with it though.
Also Conor is the 18th May, my mum is the 19th and I'm the 21st. So like Kels we have a birthday week. We try and do dinner on the 20th.
