.....from eating too much brocolli?! Im talking 2 whole heads of brocolli a week, by herself!

Is there any vitamin or whatever in brocolli which is not good in large volumes?!

 TIA!

Hannah loves brocolli as well! There is a lot of calcium in it so maybe they know that they need it? I dont think it will do her any harm, but it does seem like a lot... Good tho, at least she eats it

No she'll be fine. Andrew loves brocolli too (who said kids don't like their veges), and if he could he would live on it for a few days.
It could get expensive thou buying it from the supermarket.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Lol thanks guys! Glad it has calcium,...that could definatly explain why she eats so much! She loves raisins too and I know they contain calcium too. Have just started giving her a bit of soy yogurt, so that might help with the calcium thing!
Glad to know its alright for her!
Its ok for the budget at the mo at 99c a head,...makes me even more motivated to get our vege garden going!

P.S- she did go frightfully orange from carots as a baby! Lol!

LOL too many carrots can make you go orange, but i've never heard of anyone going green from too much brocolli.
My friends little boy will polish off an adults sized dinner plate of veges every night, he loves them. Doesn't eat fruit though

For about a month, Xanda was eating a head of broccoli a night by himself, and that is all he would eat for tea, as well as a bit of meat some nights. No we are going through a pea phase.

No harm was done, and no he didn't turn green.

Wow! Go Isla! Elle will NOT touch anything green, whether present whole, mushed, hidden in sauce etc etc. Just be happy she'll eat such a great vege!

Oh I am very happy that she loves something so healthy, but was scared she might be getting overloaded with some 'bad' vitamin!
She does also love marshmellows! Lol! But I guess one good thing about having a dairy allergic child is that most of the 'bad' foods are a no go anyway! Like choc, most biscuits, cakes etc!
