eat Cucumber, Eggplant, Rockmelon?? I have these growing and I don't eat that much of them so will have some to give away. Let me know.

And does anyone want some courgettes?? I have heaps in the fridge that need to be used very soon. So they are going now.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I'll probably make a trip down to Welly again once they are all ready so my sister can have some.

Sweet, i'll let you know when they are grown. I have heaps of little cucumbers in he plant at the moment so I know there is going to be heaps.

In a few months i'll have heaps of pumpkins as well there are heaps of flowers on the millions of plants there are.

with your pumpkins becks, once  you have what you think will be enough (to store till next year - we just cut our last one for xmas) pinch the ends out of any new runners so the  goodness goes into existing pumpkins rather to new shoots that wont have time to grow.  once you pick them just store them in a cool, dry area out on direct sunlight. we have ours in the rafters of the garage

I like the idea of rockmelon!  Woo-hoo!  I didn't even know that they grew in Palmy's erm, special climate.  Go you good thing Becks, go!

I was told today by some guy I had just met at a friends birthday that eggplant, rockmelon and watermelon don't grow in Palmy unless they are in a greenhouse. They aren't they are in the ground Aimee can vouch for that.

And i'll probably have heaps of sweetcorn as well all my plants (all 24 of them) are giving me corn.
