Know what MissAngel? I DO work, and I'm still bored bored bored...we're going through an extreme slow patch at the moment and there's 3 of us in the office sitting here twiddling our thumbs basically...roll on 5pm. At least I get paid I suppose!!! And can look through as many real estate websites as I want, and lurk on here, and look at TradeMe, and on NZWP....and read the news... and look at new babies born at Taranaki Healthcare... but there's still only so much you can do before the enthusiasm and interest wanes rather drastically.

I have a job and I'm bored about 80% of the time too. And my job is always like that. I'm busy for about an hour a day. I spend my day playing games, sonic the hedgehog, tetris, golf, pacmac and a helicopter flying one. And it between that I go online, email people. Mum comes online at 3pm so I spend my last hour of work on gmail chat talking to her. Today it was so quiet I left so I'm actually at home already with a glass of wine chatting online to mum.
Can't wait until I go part time. Then I'll be spending my spare time at home working on the house so there will be no time for boredom.

AprilFools - gosh you're lucky!! HO has severely restricted our systems, so there's no videos, no radio sites, no games, I'm actually surprised I have access to TradeMe!!! Though that in itself can be dangerous...
Doesn't it drive you insane, being so bored???

I hate being so bored. These games are actually loaded through excel so I don't have to use the net or anything to play them. Except for the helicopter flying one.
And another I like to do is shop online. I bought some more perfume today. They really do need to find me more work to do!!!

I'm even more bored today.
Everyone's gone away for the long weekend already so the office is really really quiet.
No one's emailing me coz they're clever and took today off as well. It's just poor lonely little me today.
Boring.

Ahhh wouldn't that be so lucky. Our manager is away today (3rd Friday in a row, plus last Monday as well) which means we're sitting here doing pretty much nothing again (he has to sign things off before we can process it). One of our other branches even sent up some processing because they were behind, and I've completed all of that as well...thank heavens for the library books I brought in, and phoning real estate agents to look at houses, it keeps me semi-sane.

It's so tiring though don't you think actually waiting for something to do? I get home at the end of the day and I'm buggered from doing absolutely nothing. I have had long lunches all week, even popped home the other day and loaded the dishwasher and hung some washing out and I'm still bored when I get back to work.
How is the house hunting going? At least that should keep you a little busy. I love house hunting it's so much fun and so exciting.

Would be more exciting if there were a lot of houses in our price range I think... we're going to look at a couple of houses tonight/tomorrow which will be interesting. To him, the most important part is the garage size, not so for me!!!
And yes I agree it's tiring. DP doesn't understand how it makes me tired, cos I'm sitting down doing nothing, but it's kind of like a mental exhaustion - need stimulation to keep things active, as with anything.

Exactly - it's hard work acting like you're busy!!
My DH was the same - it was the size of our garage that sold it for him. And it didn't take long before he had filled with all his treasures. I am assured that it is ALL stuff that he needs
If you find something at a good price there is the possibility that you could add a garage at a reasonable cost maybe.

Yeah, that's what we may have to do. DP races speedway, so he wants a garage big enough to fit both our cars, plus have a workshop area for when he is working on his midget as well as room to actually fit the midget - meaning one BIG garage, so any property we buy has to have the potential to extend the garage for this very reason. We could never afford to buy a house that has a garage big enough, I'm afraid, if one even came on the market (his parents house is the only one I've seen).
I prefer to pay attention to the house and see how expensive it would be to make it look like what I want hehehe - especially the kitchen!!!
Sorry MissAngel - we've completely hijacked your thread!!!

Kitchens are so important IMO. I fell in love with the size of the kitchen when we came and viewed this place but I can't wait to get my new kitchen in there. Lots of other things to do first though. Slowly but surely we will get there. I really love going out and picking things for the house though, like paint, doors, kitchens and so on.
Good luck with the viewings over the weekend. I hope you find something that's just right.

Yep, I love looking at paint colours, seeing what goes, imagining new bathrooms/kitchens/toilets....imagining art up on the wall....
DP imagines a big huge garage where he can work on the midgets with the kids and show them how to weld, grind, etc etc as they grow up.

Sounds perfect minik8e.
I imagine our kids out in the garage with DH too. That way they won't be getting my nicely painted walls dirty. Yeah right!!

I'm bored. Should be doing work but I can't bring myself to do it.
I may take a lunch break and go and spend a ridiculous amount on fabric.

My ever expanding stash.
haha.
Nah, I want some linen to make cushions and possibly attempt embroidery. Though I'm not sure I have the necessary personality trait (perfectionism) needed to actually succeed at it.
