Untill you stop bleeding after a miscarriage..

Its been 5 weeks, and although its not bright red blood, well not all the time, im still bleeding.
Should i go see the doc or is this normal?

i was told by my doctor that if i was still bleeding 7 days after the start of a miscarriage to go back and see them, I think you should be going to your doctor, and getting a scan done to make sure that everything has gone, cos sometimes bleeding for that long can mean not everything has left your body.

I am sorry to hear you are going through this

I would be going back to the dr 5 weeks is a long time to bleed.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I bled for 2 weeks then had a late period and another 2 weeks of bleeding with that. That all seemed with the range of normal in my Doctor's opinion. IMO 5 weeks is far too long. Hope you're keeping up your iron intake too.

Thanks nikkiwhyte.. Its really hard when i wake up and see Kylahs smiling wee face, I wonder what he/she would have looked like.

I just always like to think that they went back up to the 'pool of babies' and come down to another person at a different time... or maybe back to you?

Anyway, that helped me as silly as it sounds!

Sorry guys, i have just been trying to soldier on through.. they said i had to go for a scan to see if any of the pregnancy was retained. Dont that and they couldnt see anything. It has stopped now so hopefully its all ok.

Hey Kandice, It is normal to feel jealous, its all part of the grieving process, I was walking down the street the other day and meet someone who is due the day before i was due to have my bubs in March this year...and as i walked away i just cried.

I am sorry you have had to go through this, we are all here, and please pm if you need to just vent or anything

I kinda think the same thing, I wasn't ready for Fay in my 20s so she went back to Babyland until I was, nice thought.
Kandice sorry to hear this.

Im thinking the same, as Kylah was born the day i was due so she would have only just been 1, and i dont think we were quite ready for no2 so soon.

I think everything happens for a reason, so there must have been a reason for this one to leave us.
