Just wondering what everyone thinks of his books/movies.

I've seen Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 911 and Sicko and also read 'Dude, wheres my country' and 'Stupid white men'.

Its mostly american based stuff and I know he has alot of opposition about some of his beliefs but I love watching/reading his stuff. I find it really and scary but mostly interesting.

Anyone here a MM fan/hater?

I really enjoy his movies, I haven't seen Sicko yet but its on my list.

I also really enjoyed Super Size Me, not by MM but another guy. Very similar kind of movie and all about McDonalds and how bad it is for you. Highly recommend it.

I've seen some of the movies. I still don't know what my opinion is on him. I do like the films but I don't think I like him.

The guy who did Supersize me also did another experiment, him and his wife living on minimum wage in a low income town and they had a target of saving $1000 by the end of the time they were there (can't remember how long it was). They ended up being $1400 in debt. It was really awful to see that that is how people live in the USA.

I was told, with Supersize me, that it would put me off McDonalds. LOL - so not what happened, I came out feeling like a Big Mac!

I've seen Bowling for Columbine and Farenheit 9/11 and read Stupid White Men. First time I saw Columbine was the first time I'd heard of Mike Moore and I thought it was brilliant. But since reading/watching more of his stuff, I've revised my opinion a little bit. I think he's definitely bringing some important issues into the spotlight, but I also take his stuff with a huge grain of salt - he's obviously got an axe to grind and a lot of it is very repetitive, I don't entirely trust his point of view either. But yeah, entertaining and thought provoking stuff. I don't think I can be bothered seeing Sicko however, I can kind of predict how it will go and I'm getting bored with his approach.
