... in other words, full of holes !

I have a 'to do' list of stuff for today (extra day off, woohoo), and this morning as I lay in bed while Rols was getting ready I though of a few more things to add. In order to remember them all I made myself a little acronym (nothing fancy) and repeated it over and over until I was sure I wouldn't forget. Saw Rols off to work, got dressed, fed the cats and logged on. Went to enter the new items into my list (have a little handheld pocket PC thing now) and promptly forgot one of the items !! There were five things, and the acronym was "BBSPC" - B for Baby names book (have to find it!), B for Bus timetable (need to look one up), S - this is the one I forgot !!, P - Petrol for the car, C - Clean the rat cage.

I'm not expecting anyone to read my mind here LOL But I am hoping that in venting my frustration with this whole baby brain thing, that the missing item will come back to me somehow !!

Got it ! The "S" was for "Scan" - I have to ring the clinic and book it in - this is the anatomy scan and we are getting a 4D one... sooooo excited !!

Well the good news is that I just rang the clinic, and I am booked in for the 14th of Feb, which means I should be about 19 weeks or so !! It also happens to be our anniversary, which is pretty neat

Yay for remembering! And for booking the scan. But I'm sorry to say that Maya is nearly 3 and my brain has still not recovered...

And I'm sorry to add to Emma's comment that Kiya is nearly 5 and my mummy brain is as bad as ever! (I forgot how to spell "with" this morning! I wrote it as "whith"!)

*sigh* What a day ! I had to book another, slightly more critical appointment for the same day and around the same time, and when I went to reschedule the ultrasound there were no afternoon appointments left. So it has to be in the afternoon on the 15th, which means mucking around trying to get off work early, and Roland won't be able to be there either. Grrr.
