Topic: Palmy fire station Posted: 23 February 2008 at 4:12pm |
went for a walk this afternoon and we were passing by the fire stattion, looking at the engines, when a fire engine came back and pulled in. the firemen waved and motioned us over - then asked if we wanted a tour. so they took us and the boys through the station, letting the kids get into the engines and play about. we weren't there long - 10 minutes maybe but the kids loved it! so nice of them i think!

That's so nice of them! Do the boys now want to be firemen?
My dad was an ambulance driver when I was a child - we used to have it parked in the driveway and be able to look around in it.

Taine loves Fireman sam and was calling the guy that-despite him not actually wearing fire gear - i guess maybe they just take the engines out for a drive to keep the engines sweet. Jake liked the engines, but not the guy - but is now wearing his helmet i notice (and nothing else)
